Youth from two Neighborhood Matching Fund projects, Empire Nights and the Southeast Violence Prevention Community Resource Conference, will be volunteering at the 8th annual Back2School Bash by the Rainier Beach Coalition. Youth from Empire Nights will also have spoken word performances at the free event this Saturday, August 21 from 12:00 – 4:00 pm at Beer Sheva Park. The Back2School Bash will give out more than 600 backpacks, and inspire youth and families about education. More info at www.rbcoalition.org
