It’s Time to Celebrate! Neighbor Appreciation Day is February 9

Celebrate Seattle’s 19th annual Neighbor Appreciation Day on Saturday, February 9. Neighbor Appreciation Day is the traditional time to reach out to neighbors, create new friends, and express thanks to those who help make your neighborhood a great place to live.

New funding support for Historic Preservation from 4Culture

4Culture, King County’s cultural services agency, has a new program called Historic Preservation Special Projects which will focus on supporting a variety of non-bricks & mortar efforts in King County, including landmark nominations and survey/inventories. This program may offer just the financial boost you need to get your historic preservation project off the ground. Fundable projects will range from $3,000 to $10,000. Read more here.
