From Swimming to Goat Care, Neighbor Appreciation Day Offers Something for Everyone!
Looking for a fun and/or educational way to celebrate Neighbor Appreciation Day this Saturday? Seattle’s community centers and pools are getting in on the action and offering some great free or low cost options to celebrate. So grab a neighbor and check them out! Here are a few ideas to get you started:
- Ballard and Southwest Community Center pools are offering free or reduced fare swims and refreshments
- Meadowbrook and Ravenna-Eckstein Community Centers are offering the third annual Hands-on Skills Fair. Learn to make soap, prune shrubs, repair your bike, or take care of your goats! http://sustainableneseattle.ning.com/events/handson-skills-fair-2013
- Garfield Community Center is offering tours of the facility and refreshments.
