With the support of a $20,000 award from the Neighborhood Matching Fund, Afro-Latino Arts Education Season conducted four community forums in different parts of Seattle to brainstorm as a community what the community would like to see implemented in an Afrolatino arts education event. The group reached about 500 community members and collected information from the forums, surveys and interviews with elders and key informants.
