Help review and score ideas for park and street improvements

You are invited to review the park and street improvement ideas submitted by the public for Your Voice, Your Choice: Parks & Streets. Get involved by attending one or more of the project development meetings throughout the city. Attendees will discuss the proposed projects in small groups and then individually score ideas based on community benefit and need at location.

Participation is open to all who live, work, go to school, receive services, volunteer, or have a connection to the City of Seattle. If you are interested in participating in these meetings, view the full schedule and mark your calendars.

Want to see all the submitted ideas? Check out this map of 2018 ideas sorted by the Project Development meeting at which they’ll be discussed.

While you’re at a meeting, you can also get to know the new Your Voice, Your Choice Steering Committee members listed below. They were recently selected through an open-application process to serve as an advisory board and working group for the Your Voice, Your Choice program. Your Voice, Your Choice: Parks & Streets is a participatory budgeting initiative in which Seattle residents democratically decide how to spend a portion of the City’s budget on small-scale park and street improvements. A total of $3 million has been allocated in the 2018 budget and residents can participate in the district where they live, work, go to school, receive services, or volunteer.
