Washington’s Puget Sound is covered with hundreds of historic sites, and with the help of Partners in Preservation, a program of American Express and the National Trust for Historic Preservation, these unique sites may stand for a longer and more supported future. In a press conference held today at Daniels Recital Hall in Seattle, Partners in Preservation, along with Mayor Mike McGinn and King County Executive Dow Constantine, announced the 25 candidates for their $1 million dollar preservation grant, seven of which are city landmarks or are in historic districts.
From April 15 – May 12, vote here for the city landmarks you would like to receive preservation funding. Each person can vote once daily for any of the 25 historic places. For more information on Partners in Preservation and the nominated Puget Sound sites, please click here.
