Just a reminder that the urban bird and birdhouse workshop is coming up on Sunday, February 27 at 2pm. You will have the opportunity to build a birdhouse to display in Greenwood Park’s new Community Garden, or in your own backyard.

What:   Urban bird talk and birdhouse building workshop
Where: Greenwood Senior Center, 525 N 85t Street, Seattle
Why:     Support Greenwood Park with a suggested donation of $25/individual (build 1 birdhouse) or $40/family (build 2 birdhouses)
How:     RSVP to visiongreenwood@gmail.com to reserve a birdhouse

Bring:    Creative ideas and found objects to personalize the birdhouses. The family-friendly project includes hammering, drilling, gluing and painting of wooden birdhouses.

We’re also looking for volunteers to prep the materials on Sat, 2/26 at 10am, and volunteers to help with set-up at 1pm on Sunday and clean up after the event concludes. Volunteer hours count toward P-Patch eligibility too. 🙂
