The Beacon Hill Garden Club invites you to a Bean Bonanza April 20 at the Jefferson Community Center (3801 Beacon Ave. S).  The fun starts at 1:00 and runs to 4:00pm.   
 
We’ll have free seeds (bush and pole), pots, poles, and soil to get you going.  A bean buffet (donations welcome or bring beans for the Food Bank) will spotlight the culinary versatility of beans, we’ll have heirloom bean varieties for sale in sample sizes, bean fun for kids, a teach in by a master gardener and info on the Beautiful Bean photo contest.  Start composing now for the bean haiku competition.  Come find out about our two neighborhood bean demo gardens and build yourself a vintage beanie.  The fun continues thru the summer culminating in a Harvest Supper and seed swap in October.  www.beaconahillofbeans.org
