Have you ever wondered if the building down the street has some history behind it? Well, you can find out, because the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods’ Historic Preservation Program has all of Seattle’s landmarks posted on its website. The Historic Preservation  Program is responsible for the designation and protection of more than 400 landmark structures, sites, objects, and vessels, as well as seven historic districts throughout Seattle.  Click here to find one near you.
