Everyone is invited to Freeway Estates, the community orchard located in Roosevelt, for the 4^th Annual Cider Fest on Saturday, October 18 from 2 – 5 p.m. It is located on 6^th Avenue NW, just two blocks south of NE 65^th. Since the orchard’s young trees are just starting to produce, feel free to donate your apples to the event.  Along with free cider, there will be activities for all ages. The organizers will also be celebrating their Neighborhood Matching Fund award of $43,000 received this summer to improve its garden areas and add enhancements. Come join in the fun!
