On the afternoon of Sunday, November 23 from 3 to 7:30 p.m., join the interactive community art project, “I Wish a Mother Would,” as it explores dreams of a better world via oral histories, video, and photography. Installed as a site-specific performance in the historic house museum of the James & Janie Washington Foundation (1816 26th Ave), this event includes a performance (3-4:30 p.m.) and a community talk back including performers, designers, and the project team. This project is supported by a Neighborhood Matching Fund award.
