You are invited to the Road Safety Summit

How can we improve safety on our roads and ensure everyone gets where they’re going safely?  Mayor Mike McGinn and members of the Seattle City Council have convened a Road Safety Summit to get the public’s answers to this question. After a series of public forums, an action plan for safer streets will be developed and presented to the public.

There are two more public forums scheduled that you can attend:

•         Tuesday, November 15th, from 6-8 pm at the Northgate Community Center (10510 5th Avenue Northeast, Seattle WA 98125) RSVP

•         Monday, November 21st from 6-8 pm at the Southwest Community Center (2801 SW Thistle Street, Seattle WA 98106)  RSVP

There is also one more Road Safety Summit meeting after the public forums:

•         Monday, December 12th in the Bertha Knight Landes room at Seattle City Hall (600 4th Ave, Seattle WA 98104) RSVP

This final meeting will be an opportunity to hear what the next steps are for Road Safety in Seattle. If you have questions or need more information, please email rebecca.deehr@seattle.gov or visit the Road Safety Summit webpage.
