As a result of citywide budget constraints, the Department of Neighborhoods and Seattle Public Library will be closed for all business on specific dates close to the Labor Day holiday.  Â
Service Centers co-located with Seattle Public Library branches will be affected by the week-long library closure, and the Department of Neighborhoods one-day furlough.Â
- All Seattle Public Library branches will be closed from August 30 through September 5 2010.
- All City services will be closed for the Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 6.Â
- Seattle Department of Neighborhoods Neighborhood Service Centers will be closed on Tuesday, September 7 for a budget furlough day.  Â
NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE CENTERS CO-LOCATED WITH LIBRARY BRANCHES
- Neighborhood Service Centers located at the Beacon Hill and Capitol Hill branches will be closed from August 30 through September 7Â
- Beacon Hill and Capitol Hill Service Centers will reopen for regular business on Wednesday September 8 Â Â Â
- The Lake City Neighborhood Service Center and parking garage will remain open during the library closureÂ
- The Ballard Neighborhood Service Center will be open, but the garage will be closed from August 30 through September 7
Regular Seattle Public Library operations will resume at all branch locations on Tuesday, Sept 7 after the Labor Day holiday.Â
Regular Seattle Department of Neighborhoods Service Center operations will resume on Wednesday, Sept 8, 2010.
