Neighborhood Matching Fund Large Project recipient holds fundraiser

Work-it-Out, funded in part with a $100,000 Seattle Department of Neighborhoods Neighborhood Matching Fund Large Project award,  is hosting a Volunteer Appreciation and Fundraiser on December 1 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm to celebrate the work that has been performed at the Horace Mann Public School, as well as the opening of the school in January of 2011.

The Work-it-Out Project will convert the Horace Mann School building and grounds into a neighborhood educational and job-training work site for youth ages 16-21 in greatest need of intervention: school dropouts.

The fundraiser will feature  light hors d’eouvres and beverages, conducting tours of the facility and a presentation on the program at 7:00.  All attendees are welcome to donate to Work-It-Out. Please register so seating may be reserved for you and your guests.
