The new P-Patch, Un-paving Paradise, located in Summit Slope Park, was measured out for plots recently. P-patchers thought they would only get 20 plots, but were able to squeeze in 36 gardening spaces. Of those 36, three will be set aside for community collective activities. One will be used by non-profit groups on the hill, one as a Giving Garden, and the third group will be outreaching to area schools/youth. All plots will be filled by volunteers who have put in (and continue to put in) many hours on moving the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods P-Patch forward.
