Come join us to celebrate our annual Lavender U-Pick FREE event, with a special cooking segment with author, Kathy Gehrt, who will share with us fresh and flavorful recipes from her book, “Discover Cooking with Lavender”.  A sought after writer and presenter with wonderful wit will demonstrate how to use Lavender in your recipes.   We are also pleased to have Rolf Hokansson, Assistant Manager at Swansons Nursery specializing in Perennials and Herbs.  A former Herbfarm manager, frequent radio guest with Cisco Morris and garden consultant, will share with us his expertise and show samplings of different Lavenders for your garden and will discuss their characteristics, planting requirements, harvesting and pruning.
