The Seattle Landmarks Preservation Board unanimously approved the designation of the Seattle P-I Globe a City of Seattle landmark at its April 18 meeting. In the designation presentation, it was noted that “the Globe not only reflects the history of the P-I and the city, but vividly captures a significant time in the history of the U.S. and of journalism. It is a true landmark instantly identifiable with Seattle.” for more information on the Globe, visit http://www.seattle.gov/neighborhoods/preservation/documents/LPBCurrentNom_PI_Globe.pdf
