The West Seattle Blog reported on City Fruit’s efforts to glean unwanted fruit from West Seattle neighborhood trees for donation to area food banks.  The Neighborhood Matching Fund Small and Simple program supported this effort with an award of $6,295.  City Fruit is looking for trees and pickers city-wide.  Click here for more information.
