Please join Nicole Kistler, Seattle Artist-in-Residence for Urban Agriculture and the Seattle Tree Fruit Society, this Saturday, May 25 at the Magnuson Park P-Patch Orchard for the installation of a new art project called Blushing Orchards. The project is the first pilot project of a new Seattle Art Plan for Urban Agriculture. You will be thinning the trees and covering fruit in the orchards with colorfully dyed apple maggot barriers. How fun! If you’ve never done it before, it’s easy to learn and is something people of almost any age can participate in.
Time: Noon to 4 pm
Location: Orchards just west of the children’s garden, and south of the amphitheater
