Landmarks Preservation Board to consider landmark nomination of the P-I Globe

The Landmarks Preservation Board will consider the landmark nomination of the P-I Globe which is located at 101 Elliott Ave W. The public is invited to attend the meeting and make comments. 

When: Wednesday, March 7 at 3:30 p.m.
Where: Seattle Municipal Tower, 700 5th Avenue, 40th Floor, Room 4060

 If you are unable to attend, written comments should be received by the Landmarks Preservation Board by 5:00 p.m. on March 6, 2012 to the following address: Seattle Landmarks Preservation Board, Seattle Department of Neighborhoods, P.O. Box 94649, Seattle WA 98124-4649.

The nomination for the P-I Globe is posted on Seattle Department of Neighborhoods website www.seattle.gov/neighborhoods/preservation/landmarks.htm under the heading of “Current Nominations.”  The nomination provides a full description, maps, photographs, and information on the P-I Globe’s significance.

The Landmarks Preservation Board is administered by the Historic Preservation Program of Seattle Department of Neighborhoods.
