The Seattle Office of Emergency Management has launched an April emergency preparedness campaign called, “3 to Get Ready!” The campaign runs from April 5 through May 7.
The idea is for people to do three things for themselves to get better prepared, then teach three OTHERS to do the same – that’s the Preparedness Challenge! After that, they can register on-line at www.mynorthwest.com (KIRO) for a free prize packet which includes a t-shirt, whistle and keychain flashlight.
