This City of Seattle Department of Neighborhoods Neighborhood Matching Fund supported artwork “A Salish Welcome” features a monumental bronze welcome figure draped in a Salish ceremonial robe and holding an aluminum disk that represents the life cycle of Pacific Salmon.

The dedication ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 17 at the Salmon Bay Natural Area, 3419 54th St.
