Broadview Bitter Lake Neighbor Appreciation Day Community Gathering

The Broadview Community Council is hosting a community gathering at the Bitter Lake Community Center this Saturday, February 12, Neighbor Appreciation Day.   A number of neighborhood organizations and City representatives, including Mayor McGinn, will be in attendance at the event.  The community is looking forward to major projects in the neighborhood,  including Linden Complete Streets, major re-development of its sewers, turning the Bitter Lake Reservoir into a park-like atmosphere, inclusive of a P-Patch, and the update of its 1999 Neighborhood Master Plan.  A community meeting is planned for Saturday, March 12 at Broadview Thompson Elementary School for the community to provide input on the Neighborhood Plan Update.  The Seattle Department of Neighborhoods Small Sparks fund provided funding for the Neighbor Appreciation Day Community Gathering event.
