The public is invited to a meeting to discuss whether to grant a zoning modification (known as a “departure”) to a City zoning regulation for Robert Eagle Staff Middle School located at 1330 N. 90th Street. The Seattle School District is requesting to have a reduced setback for field lighting at the school. The meeting will be held Wednesday, April 18 at 6 p.m. at Cascadia Elementary School (1700 N. 90th St.).

The Seattle School District will make a presentation on the requested modification before the Robert Eagle Staff Middle School Development Standards Departure Advisory Committee, a group composed of neighbors, and Seattle School District and City representatives. After the presentation, the public is invited to provide comments. Following public comments, the committee will deliberate and consider the School District’s request. Additional meetings may be held, if needed.

If community members cannot attend the meeting, written comments can be submitted by Monday, April 16 to:
