Community gathers to celebrate 50th anniversary of the P-Patch Community Gardening Program

On Saturday, September 9, P-Patch gardeners and community members gathered at the Magnuson Park P-Patch to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the P-Patch Community Gardening Program. The celebration included food, seed and plant giveaways, informational displays about the program’s history, speakers from City of Seattle leadership, and entertainment by Kondo renZou, a marimba group that grew out of the University of Washington Zimbabwean Music Club.
