Seattle Job Assistance, Seattle Paid Sick & Safe Time Training for Community Advocates

Community Advocates! New laws in the City of Seattle strengthen employee rights in the workplace and decrease barriers to jobs. The Office for Civil Rights is hosting a free training to assist you in working with clients and community members to understand two recently enacted laws: the Seattle Job Assistance Ordinance and Seattle Paid Sick and Safe Time. The training will be held from 9 – 11 a.m. at NewHolly Gathering Hall, 7054 32nd Ave South on Wednesday, October 2.

This workshop will train social service providers, legal advocates and community residents on these new laws to better serve your clients. Participants will receive a certificate of completion from the Director of the Seattle Office for Civil Rights at the end of the training session.
