Join the Rainier Beach neighborhood and their newest partner, The Mission Continues veteran’s service organization, to clean up fall leaves and litter and spruce up the Beach! The event is this Saturday, November 21 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Mapes Creek Walkway Plaza (S. Henderson across the street from Rainier Beach High School). These Seattle-area veterans from The Mission Continues are pledging to work shoulder to shoulder with the Rainier Beach community on a variety of neighborhood improvement projects through 2016.
