Seattle/King County Clinic Helping Neighbors Stay Healthy

Last week, the Department of Neighborhood’s leadership team toured the Seattle/King County Clinic. This annual four-day, volunteer-driven clinic provides free dental, vision, and medical care to anyone in the region struggling to access affordable healthcare.

Since 2014 the Clinic has served at least 27,000 patients and provided more than $23 million in direct services to the public with the support of 110 organizations and over 27,000 volunteers.

A group of patients lie on beds and get treated by doctors.

Throughout the tour, it was clear that this event was made possible by neighbors supporting each other and our strong sense of community. We are unified by our common values to support our neighbors, especially when they are in need. As Seattle/King County Clinic continues to positively impact this community, we invite you to get involved and help sustain the Clinic’s work.
